Peter Willsher is a specialist surgeon who graduated from the University of Melbourne Medical School and completed his surgical training in Melbourne. He later practised in the UK at Nottingham City Hospital Breast Centre as a Clinical and Research Fellow, where he completed a Doctorate of Medicine focused on biological changes in breast cancer. He has also completed a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
Peter is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and has published around 100 abstracts and papers, including two book chapters. In 2000, he was recognised as an International Guest Scholar by the American College of Surgeons. His breast surgery practice is based at Hollywood Private Hospital, where he provides surgical care for many BCRC-WA patients.
