Dr Liza O’Donnell is a senior research scientist at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research and Griffith University. She completed her PhD in reproductive endocrinology at Monash University and has an extensive research career in male reproductive health.
Her work has focused on the endocrine and molecular regulation of the testis, including male hormonal contraception and the causes and treatment of male infertility. Dr O’Donnell’s current research centres on identifying biomarkers to assess testicular function, and developing new diagnostics and therapies to support optimal androgen production and fertility in men.
She was also an author of the Guidelines for the management of male infertility.
