As a provider of GP continuing professional development, we deliver training activities on male reproductive and sexual health and associated conditions. 

Our training is accredited through the RACGP and ACRRM 2020-2022 triennium, and is developed under the guidance and direction of our GP reference group and clinical advisors.

GPs that complete the RACGP/ACRRM endorsed training activities will receive a complimentary orchidometer (one orchidometer per person; restricted to Australian residents only).

Androgen deficiency in the older male: a case study on metabolic syndrome This training activity aims to assist GPs in discussing and managing older men who present with symptoms of low testosterone. The case study focuses on the ability to diagnose androgen deficiency and appropriate management of older men with low testosterone in the primary health care setting, including the prescription of testosterone according to PBS guidelines. 3 hours 6 2 educational activity

Androgen deficiency in younger males: a case study on Klinefelter Syndrome This training activity outlines different clinical presentations relating to androgen deficiency in younger males. The knowledge gained will assist GPs in the diagnosis and management of androgen deficiency in their younger male patients. This activity focuses on the need to undertake genital examinations on young men presenting with symptoms of androgen deficiency (to exclude Klinefelter's syndrome) and outlines a systematic approach to the investigation and management of androgen deficiency. The case study focuses on a male with Klinefelter's syndrome, the most common cause of androgen deficiency in younger men and a common genetic condition where most cases remain undiagnosed and untreated. 2 hours 4 1 educational activity

Managing testicular disorders in general practice: a case study on testicular cancer This training activity will assist GPs in the diagnosis and management of testicular disorders in their younger male patients. The case study focuses on recognising common and important conditions causing discomfort or swelling of scrotal contents, the investigation and management of testicular cancer as part of a multidisciplinary team and engaging the male patient with discussion of sensitive health issues. 1.5 hours 3 1 educational activity

Sexual health and ejaculation disorders: a case study on prostatitis and premature ejaculation This training activity provides GPs with knowledge and communication strategies to assist in the diagnosis and management of young male patients presenting with sexual health and ejaculation disorders. PSA testing in general practice: a case study approach This interactive online case-based learning activity will support general practitioners to better understand, interpret and manage challenging prostate-specific antigen cases in general practice.
